• Parent Resources

Parent University educates Combs parents on the social, emotional, and developmental needs of their student. It focuses on creating positive experiences and building emotional health so students are present, engaged, and learning when on campus. The focus on emotional health and the education of the whole child will lead to success as students reach for their full potential, contribute to the greater good of society, and lead meaningful lives.

Parent University is a creative and exciting way for parents to get involved with their child's social and emotional learning. Trained professionals provide parents with FREE materials, webinars and events to help them address issues that their students may be experiencing.

    Tools and Curriculum

The district has Second Step Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum at its elementary schools and secondary campuses are using Major Clarity curriculum and implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Tiered supports for students showing mental health or social-emotional need along with risk assessment procedures are operational on all campuses.
